Feng Shui – Be Careful Purchasing Homes With Bad Feng Shui

So you’ve found the perfect house, and you want to put an offer on it. But have you taken the time to check out the home’s Feng Shui?

There is a strong possibility that after you sign on the dotted line, all kinds of chaos may erupt in your life for a home that doesn’t have good Feng Shui.

What is Feng Shui and how could bad Feng Shui affect your personal life?

What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice of harmonizing yourself with your environment. I like to think of it as reiki for your house. It involves improving the energy flow by placing certain objects in certain baguas of your home.

These baguas align with specific areas of your life, such as career, romance, health, knowledge, finances, and more. As you enhance these areas, you are supposedly going to also improve these significant areas of your life.

For instance, if you improve your career area using specific colors or enhancements, you will start to see improvements in your real life within your career.

What Is Significantly Bad Feng Shui?

A really great Feng Shui practitioner will be able to correct many of the issues with the energy of your home. However, there are some things that even the best skills in the world can’t fix.

These are some Feng Shui home features you should avoid or at least consult the help of a skilled practitioner before purchasing your home.

A home that is below street level

There will be stagnation in your life, and things will be harder than they should be.

A home that sits on a T-intersection

Severe relationship, financial, or health problems may result.

Front door and back door aligns perfectly

Energy will enter the house and go right out the back door instead of going through other areas of the house.

It could attract chaotic or stagnated energy to the house.

How Does Bad Feng Shui Affect Your Life?

For most, Feng Shui is hocus pocus. But whether you believe in it or not, things could be happening to indicate that you have bad energy in your home.

Here are some indicators that the Feng Shui in your house is bad.

  • Loss of money
  • Unexplained sickness
  • Constant accidents
  • Feeling stuck in a career
  • Lots of arguments
  • Infidelity and other chaos in love relationships
  • Family fighting
  • Insomnia

These things don’t necessarily mean that Feng Shui is the only problem. But it is a strong possibility that they could be linked to bad Feng Shui.

Things to Keep In Mind When Buying a Home

Ultimately, you don’t want to reject a home totally for all the bad Feng Shui it may have. In some cases, a good practitioner can help correct the bad aspects and help you live very comfortably in such a h

ome. But you have to keep in mind that some homes are built in very bad places, and there is nothing that anyone can do to fix this. It’s like a haunted house.

You may not believe in such things, but this doesn’t mean that freaky stuff won’t happen in the house. Here are some tips to remember when searching for a home.

  • Try to hire a Feng Shui practitioner to help you decide on the best option.
  • Know what types of Feng Shui can be corrected with auspicious tools and those which should be avoided at all costs.
  • Be aware of absolute no-nos, such as t-intersections

You can’t help which house you fall in love with. But as they advise you not to let your emotions get the best of you when shopping for a home, this should apply to Feng Shui, too.

As much as you may love a place, having terrible Feng Shui throughout the duration of your stay isn’t worth it. Try to keep Feng Shui in mind as you shop for your new home.
